The Clarke County Historical Museum will host a free genealogy workshop titled, “Researching your Clarke County Ancestors,” Tuesday, March 17, 6 p.m. at Grove Hill Town Hall. Museum Director Kerry Reid will instruct you on how to begin researching genealogy, where to find genealogical information in Clarke County and Alabama and what records are available. The second half of the program will assist researchers in using Family Search, an online database with the largest collection of genealogical and historical records in the world. The public is invited to attend. For more information, call the museum office at 251-275-8684.
