Grove Hill Police Drug Awareness Rally!

Grove Hill youth are invited to Clarke County High School Auditorium to participate in a “Just Say No” rally to encourage and educate kids about the evils of drug abuse.  The Grove Hill Police Department is hosting “It Takes a Village” youth rally to help kids learn about substance abuse.  The rally begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 and will feature experts talking about what is being done to help young adults and adolescents with life changing decisions. Former Alabama State Trooper Lt. Matthew Creighton will be the featured speaker delivering his “Don’t Get Sidetracked” program.  Along with speakers, there will be booths and information areas, games, activities, and hamburgers and hotdogs. RUN THE HILL FOR YOUR ART & SOLE – April 25th, 2015

There is a little over two weeks left to pre-register for our annual 5k and 2 mile fun walk! The RUN THE HILL FOR YOUR ART & SOLE is a fundraiser to benefit the Grove Hill Cultural Arts Center. If you register by April 3rd, you are guaranteed a t-shirt & a canvas to paint! We will not be ordering many extra t-shirts so be sure to pre-register! There will be a DJ, pre and post refreshments and lots of fun! Invite your friends & family to support the Arts Center by running or walking on April 25th! The run/walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. and is sanctioned by the Tombigbee Runners’ Club.
